As an artist I am predisposed to day dreaming, imagining, and pondering what intrigues me most. Such ponderings have led me to become fascinated by the abilities of dolphins to see through sound. In my research and exploration using hot blown glass I have used the transparent qualities of glass in metaphor to express the benefits of using this primitive form of sound.
My current work is blown using monochromatic shades of black, grey and clear to mirror the world from a dolphin’s perspective. It is intended to help the viewer consider an alternative way of communicating; not through words and light but through sound and vision.
Imagine no words, Imagine no light, Imagine a picture, Imagine a sound....
See the vision sent to all around.
